NLP and the law of attraction have the ability to truly augment each other. The two of them combined, and paired with action, have an incredible potential to not only program the subconscious mind, but to launch you forward into who you want to become.

The law of attraction is defined on Wikipedia as:
The theory of the Law of Attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, people can bring positive or negative experiences into their life.

NLP is a toolbox of techniques involving the mind, thoughts, and emotions. In essence, NLP can function as the vehicle and augmenting force behind the law of attraction.


Augmenting your subconscious mind to facilitate the law of attraction:

Stepping into the Future Self in a Way That Works

The brain cannot tell the difference between what it is actually experiencing and what it is only imagining. Step into your future self, as if you are looking through your own eyes, so you can hear what you would hear, feel what you would feel, and see what you would see. This allows for a stronger impulse inside the brain.

Augmenting Visualizations

In NLP we teach something called submodalities; this is a method by which you can intensify your practice to use the law of attraction. You can make the images in your mind brighter, larger, and closer, turning them into a movie rather than a still picture. Or, make the sounds louder, surrounding, and intensify all auditory components. You can also locate how this makes you feel inside the body and mind, and augment that feeling. This will supercharge your internal vision board in practicing the law of attraction.

Understanding Well-Formed Outcomes

The things you want for the future need to be well-formed in order to program your subconscious mind for the law of attraction.
What you want must be framed in the following ways:

  1. Must be stated in the positive, meaning stating what you do want rather than do not.
  2. Needs to be a small part, meaning it needs some specificity to it rather than being happy in all areas of your life for example.
  3. It needs to be something you are personally going to achieve and take action for, rather than make someone else do.
  4. It must be what you really want, not something to use to get something else. For instance, some people want to have a relationship to make themselves feel complete, what they really want is to feel complete.
