How do you achieve group rapport when in learning NLP techniques you focused on only one person? How can you possibly match and mirror an entire group of people?
This is where we start stepping onto the territory of not NLP Practitioner or NLP Master Practitioner, but that of NLP techniques for NLP trainers.
Here are 3 easy steps to create group rapport:
Step 1: Observe the group, go into an expanded vision.
You need to widen your viewpoint of the room, so you can see all the participants. Much like building rapport with one client, when you need to observe what this person is doing, here you need to do the same with a group.
Step 2: Find the rapport leader in the group
The rapport leader is the person who, when he or she shifts position in his or her chair, within a few minutes everyone sits in the same position. You will also find that this person naturally and easily builds rapport with the others in the group. This person will, in a sense, end up creating the group rapport for you.
Step 3: Build rapport with the rapport leader(s) in the group.
You achieve group rapport by building rapport with the rapport leader. There are a lot of obvious ways to go about this, like matching and mirroring beginner NLP Practitioner style. But there are also other ways.
