Cristi Williams is owner and entertainment life coach of “Shading the Limelight”, a celebrity and entertainment life coaching company with offices in Nashville and Los Angeles. Cristi is also the lead trainer and program developer of various soft skills & NLP workshops at Shading the Limelight; offering services to entertainers, parents of young talent, and management companies in the entertainment industry. Since falling in love with the Global training program, she has developed a love for teaching NLP to new coaches and wants to encourage and promote “Global-ly” trained life coaches. Cristi not only brings us a wealth of NLP and coaching knowledge, she is a former school teacher with nearly 20 years of experience. With that comes the ability to provide a great deal of information as to how to apply NLP within the education system, as well as with kids and teenagers. Currently, she is involved in an exciting new educational video project collaborating with Hollywood production companies to inform and inspire today’s youth.
Cristi grew up in theatre, dance, and modeling. Her 17 years as a classroom teacher with a Master's degree in Education and a Minor in Counseling played a major part in her life giving her a background of mentoring and guiding others. “I’ve worn many hats during my life's journey (teacher, tour manager/public relations, presenter, personal Grammy assistant, advocate, choreographer, stage manager/producer, and mom)”. Cristi lived in NYC where she was an associate to the founder of the National Dance Institute, Jacques d'Amboise. She has experience helping people from all facets of the industry providing them with the best tools to discover how to manage and cultivate relationships and balance their personal and professional lives.
Shading the limelight, is an artist consulting and entertainment life coaching firm that develops the mindset of the artist and promotes stability to overcome the struggles and challenges of the entertainment business by building resources from within to balance personal life and professional life, manage stress, and enhance relationships. Shading the Limelight works with families, management, labels, and studios to achieve and maintain wholeness in the individual as well as cohesiveness to support teams, cast, and other important working relationships. This is done through coaching and workshops.
Global NLP Training and Shading the Limelight established a synergistic relationship in 2008. Global NLP Training is responsible for educating the new coaches of Shading the Limelight. Nicole Schneider is frequently invited to consult for Cristi, both as a trainer as well as a coach.

Cristi’s greatest and most fulfilling accomplishment has been raising her daughter, Hayley. Entering the entertainment business eight years ago opened her eyes firsthand to what young men and women experience. Hayley is now the lead singer of the two Grammy nominated band, Paramore. This adventure taught Cristi how important it is to have a balanced life as well as a great support system.
