Stephan Cocks, Tri-State Hypnosis and NLP Center

Stephan Cocks was trained in hypnosis and NLP in the early 1980s at the University of Santa Cruz by students of John Grinder and Richard Bandler. This is where NLP was developed and the first NLP trainings in the world were provided.

Stephan pursued a career in business,  and functioned at senior management levels of the MGM Hotel Group in Las Vegas Nevada, United States.  From 1983 until early 2004, Stephan offered therapy and coaching on a part time basis in hypnosis and NLP to mainly corporate business professionals. Eventually he wanted to offer his skills and services to a broader community. He founded the Tri State Hypnosis and NLP Center in Riviera Arizona, offering therapy to people from different walks of life in California, Nevada and Arizona.

As the Tri State Hypnosis and NLP Center grew in success, Stephan started managing the center full time. In 2006 he decided to expand it further to reach an even wider community. Stephan focused his goals on:  1) training others in NLP and hypnosis, 2) doing so globally, 3) and  offering expertise not only in the realm of therapy and coaching, but also business, law and education. To expand on those goals, Stephan  recognized the need for an experienced international trainer to compliment his skills and background. Stephan searched globally to find an experienced trainer he could work with coming from a non-therapeutic background, like business, and law.

Stephan selected Nicole Schneider from The Netherlands to build a team, and they have been inseparable ever since.

  

Nicole Schneider, LL.M.

Nicole already started working with NLP and advanced communication skills in the early 1990s while obtaining her law degree in The Netherlands and The United States. Fascinated by how juries were picked and influenced, she recognized very early on that to succeed, she was required to have the most advanced communication, people reading, and behavioral science knowledge available in the world.  She travelled world wide to obtain this knowledge attending several Universities and organizations.

Nicole attended training from some of the top people and organizations in the world in multiple disciplines among them the famous MBTI (Myers - Briggs Personality Typing Psychology) and training in truth detection and body language reading.  Already in college she was a well sought after intercultural communications trainer in corporate international business as well as elementary and high schools. Her career eventually moved in to strategic management of global multi-million dollar programs, while she continued as a part-time trainer, educating and coaching other managers internationally. In 2004 she decided to go back full time in to the training profession.

Global NLP Training Institute

In January 2007 Nicole and Stephan decided to combine their talents to create the Global NLP Training Institute. Since then the institute has experienced tremendus growth. Staff members with various expertises and from various industries have joined the team world wide over the past year. We expect continued growth globally, and the introduction of several new exciting programs in 2008.
