Question: What is NLP?

Answer: NLP has been defined in many different ways by many prominent people in the field of NLP training.  We at Global NLP Training Institute view NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming as the study of subjective human experience.  NLP was developed in the 1970’s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder.  Bandler and Grinder studied some of leaders in the field of personal change to code and model the very techniques that set them apart and made them particularly successful in their respective fields.  Among these professionals were: Fritz Perls of Gestalt Therapy fame, Virginia Satir, the leading family therapist of her time, Gregory Bateson, a renowned anthropologist and Dr. Milton Erickson, a Dr. of Psychiatry and the father of modern Hypnotherapy. Bandler and Grinder placed emphasis on the process of how these professionals conducted change work and therapy and less emphasis on the content of what they were working with.  This led to their being able to model specific behaviors that were effective and be able to duplicate those results themselves.

Answer: NLP is used as a tool in personal relations, Business Coaching and Life Coaching to effectively enhance communication and effectiveness of outcome.

Question:  What is Life Coaching and Business Coaching?
          
Answer: Life Coaching and Business Coaching are two of the top emerging career     of our time. Life Coaching and Business Coaching are similar in that they offer the opportunity to create a synergy of life experience and formal training to bring a unique perspective to a client.  Often times people become stuck in a “rut” and need to find solutions to problems and obstacles that can get in the way of success.  The Coach in this instance guides the client through a process of prioritizing objectives, forming desired outcomes and goals and assists the client through a process of specific techniques to empower the individual or organization through successful completion of those clearly stated goals.  The Business or Life Coach possess a skill set of strong communication ability (language that is outcome based) and a set of specific techniques that outline individual  and group strengths and aligns those strengths to provide the maximum  possibility for successful outcomes.
