NLP Modeling
NLP modeling is somewhat unclear as to what it exactly is to someone who has never taken NLP training.
As we have been getting some questions based on our Master Practitioner syllabus, I thought we should devote an blog post briefly explaining what NLP modelling is, and what we teach in our NLP Master Practitioner training.
Modeling in NLP we do by taking a person who is exceptionally adept in doing something, or not doing something. This could be a physical activity (like juggling), or a more cerebral type of activity (like networking.) NLP has a series of tools, and processes to follow to be able to replicate this excellence. So you can easily learn how to do it (well), and teach it to others.
In our training we teach our students the process and the questions involved how to model something a specific person does really well. We teach a very easy way to figure out “how” someone does it. We then do a mini-modeling project, and create a training of the activity. This usually leads to astonishing results, in our last class we had people juggling within 30 minutes.
