Book Review: An Insider’s Guide to Submodalities
An Insider’s Guide To Sub-modalities by Richard Bandler and Will MacDonald.
Despite the mere 116 pages, I think this book is a gem for those interested to learn more about sub-modalities, and Richard Bandlers teachings on this. The book is based on transcripts of workshops Richard Bandler has given on submodalities.
It goes a bit further then merely explaining what submodalities are, and merely supplying students a list of submodalities to check for, and how to perform a swish. The book offers a series of excercises using submodalities, while explaining the use and usefulness.
For instance how to use submodalities to change the present state, eliciting a motivation strategy, changing beliefs, designing your own swish tailed to the individual, anchor chaining enhanced with submodalities. And much much more.
This book also offers several transcripts of Richard Bandler demonstrating these techniques on his students.
I’d recommend this book to anyone interested to learn more about submodalities, and wants to learn from Richard Bandler. Even though the book is only 116 pages, that’s likely more then the amount of pages on sub-modalities you’ll find in any other NLP.
I would not recommend this book to those that do not have at least a basic understanding about submodalities, or people whom have not taking at least the practitioner training.
Though I have never sat down and made a list of my favorite top 10 NLP books, I have a feeling this book will be on it.
If you want to purchase this book based on this review: An Insiders Guide to Submodalities By Richard Bandler and Will MacDonald.

Good review. Never heard of this book until now. I’ll have to add it to the list.
