Fears Babies are Born With

Fears, babies, and naturally inborn fears aren’t really so much talked about in the world of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming.) Reason why is because the majority of fears are learned behavior. And it is here where the world of NLP dabbles with various re-programming techniques.

A phobia can easily be “created” at a very young age.  Imagine crawling around discovering the world, and this 8 legged humongous creepy crawler goes SMACK right in your face. Insert a fear of spiders, and you’ll never know how you even gotten this phobia as an adult.  And each time a spider comes in a 1 mile radius of you, you go in to a full blown panick attack. Luckely, NLP has a  highly effective 10 minute cure to rid yourself of this problem once and for all, by re-programming your brain.

For the non-NLPers reading this blog, I am referring to the “Fast Phobia Cure”, where it is possible to cure people in a matter of minutes from a phobia’s, that they have been trying to get get rid off for decades. Even on the sceptics it works, you don’t need to believe it, for this process to work. The best phobia’s I have cured, were with sceptics. They went through this 10 minute seemingly silly brain re-programming process, then assumed this simple process could not possible fix a fear they had years of therapy and nightmares for. Then when you ask them about their fear……they suddenly realized it vanished. A simple matter of the brain going “here”, instead of “there.”

Though debated by various groups in the world of psychology, we are also born with fears.  Debated, as what is the difference between a reflex and a fear? We could ask the baby, but we likely won’t get an answer.

Babies are naturally born with two fears. A fear of falling and a fear of loud noises. All other fears are learned by association and identification.

A baby is born with certain reflexes, like fight or flight. Another of these inborn reflexes are startle reflexes.

When hearing a loud noise, a baby tends to make a jerking movement. And when a baby gets a sensation from falling, he/she tends to gasp for air. (And no….don’t try this at home.)

These reflexes are unconscious, but are soon connected to “fear” as babies become older.

The phobia cure is taught in NLP Practitioner training, next to various other techniques designed to resolve fears.
